TROY – Provider Exchange Network (PEN), a division of Open Dealer Exchange LLC, has announced integration with The Impact Group Inc. The menu maker’s Fusion Menu will now feature electronic rating, forms and contract origination via PEN.
“We couldn’t be more excited about the partnership with Provider Exchange Network,” said Mark Thorpe, president of The Impact Group. “Our ultimate goal is to make e-rating and e-contracting an integral component of the Fusion menu process for our dealers.”
Dealers using the Fusion menu system will now be able to rate service contracts and other F&I products instantly and without errors. In addition, the system supports plain-paper contracts and electronic origination, reported F&I and Showroom.
“The Impact Group is an outstanding organization with a fast-growing dealer base,” said Mark Virag, managing director of PEN. “This relationship brings us one step closer to our goal of eContracting for every dealer in North America.”
PEN is an electronic data exchange that streamlines the sales process by integrating the F&I product provider with the dealer’s point-of-sale system, whether through a menu or directly with the dealership management system (DMS) desking software. This integration approach eliminates the need for separate applications to enable e-contracting for aftermarket products. Functions include electronic ratings, forms preparation and contract origination.

DULLES – The Impact Group is excited to announce e-rating and e-contracting enhancements to the Fusion Menu for the full line of IAS products and services, F&I and Showroom reported.
Using the Fusion Menu, finance managers can rate for all available IAS product plans. Then, using a customized Fusion product overview and support tools, F&I professionals can illustrate the benefits and features of each option to the customer. Upon finalizing the deal, Fusion allows the F&I manager to automatically update the DMS, print the selected contracts, and remit the deal information to IAS for processing.
“IAS committed to the e-Contracting initiative in July of 2006 and we continue that push today. We are always excited to offer our varied warranty products through new and exciting technology portals, and the Fusion Menu fits within that strategy perfectly,” said Matt Nowicki, Director of Information Technology for IAS.
Mark Thorpe, president of The Impact Group, added: “We are excited to offer this fully-integrated solution to our dealer clients. IAS is a leader in today’s aftermarket industry, and this is an important step in moving toward a more automated and proficient F&I office. E-rating and e-contracting initiatives demonstrate the cooperative and forward-thinking nature of our partnerships, and a more efficient F&I process will ultimately increase profits and enhance the customer’s dealership experience.”

Chicago – F&I Administration Solutions has announced the launch of the integration of its SCS Auto administration platform with The Impact Group’s FUSION menu.
This connectivity will enable dealers working within the FUSION menu to get accurate real-time rates for service contracts and other products that are managed within the SCS Auto administration system. Typically, finance managers have a short window of time to determine the best product mix at the best price for the customer. Leveraging the F&I Admin solution, the FUSION menu can be presented to the customer in seconds.
“It is industry knowledge that the less time customers spend in the F&I office, the more likely they are to buy additional products,” said David Trinder, CEO of F&I Administration Solutions. “The integration of our products significantly reduces the time it takes to present the menu, and therefore increases the likelihood of making a sale.”
“For our discerning clients, easy access and accuracy are expected in every component of our system. Having the ability to interface with F&I Administration Solutions’ SCS Auto eRating service enables us to meet those expectations in exciting new ways, and for a much larger audience,” said Mark Thorpe, President, The Impact Group, Inc.
“The integration with the FUSION menu is part of our ongoing commitment to provide electronic connectivity to other systems for the benefit of our provider customers and their dealers,” continued Trinder. “More announcements will follow shortly as we continue to deliver to this strategy.”
