RoadVantage Brings Don Oliver Aboard as SVP

AUSTIN – RoadVantage, the fastest-growing provider of F&I programs for the automotive industry, announces the addition of Don Oliver as Senior VP of Operations.

Mr. Oliver is a 30-year veteran of the VSC (Vehicle Service Contract) administration business, having spent the majority of his automobile industry career with CNA National Warranty Corporation (CNA National) which was previously privately-owned by Paul Askos (Western National Warranty) prior to acquisition by CNA in 1995. As the EVP (Executive Vice President) of CNA National, Mr. Oliver developed many of the processes and practices of the administration departments that made the company a nationally-known success. After a long and successful career, Mr. Oliver chose to retire in 2017.

After a year of reflection, Don began to realize that he still had the desire to offer more value to the industry. Through a CNA National partnership with RoadVantage, he was exposed to the product innovations and industry-leading service levels the company provides and thus began discussions on how he might become part of the RoadVantage team. A decision was reached that Mr. Oliver could be most effective in helping the company support its rapid growth as the Senior VP of Operations.

RoadVantage Continues Rapid Growth – Welcomes Industry Veterans Keith Cooper and Steve Chandler

AUSTIN – RoadVantage, the fastest-growing provider of F&I programs for the automotive industry, announced that Randy Ross is being promoted to President of Sales.

Ross, who is the current Senior Vice President of Sales, has been with the company for five years, where he has been instrumental in the company’s rapid rise to success. Prior to that, he owned Ross Chrysler Jeep Dodge in Boone, N.C. for nearly 15 years. He was also the Platform President and Co-Founder of Group1 Automotive from 1997-2000; was the managing partner for 13 years at Town North Nissan Mitsubishi, Elgin Ford, Round Rock Nissan in Austin, Texas; and began his automotive sales and management career at a sister dealership in the Dallas, TX market.

“From the start, I have believed in the power of the mission here at RoadVantage,” said Ross. “We have some of the most talented people in the industry, the most comprehensive products, and certainly the most amazing claims staff in the business. Keith Cooper — formerly the Senior Vice President of Sales at Innovative Aftermarket Systems (IAS) — has been hired to replace Ross as the new Senior Vice President of Sales. Cooper will spearhead the company’s national sales efforts, looking to continue the explosive growth the company has experienced every year since it was founded. Prior to his tenure at IAS, Cooper served as the Executive Vice President and General Manager at the Genesis Marketing Group. He has held roles as the Director of National Sales for Gulf States Financial Services; President, COO and Partner at Triple Protection Auto Care; and President and General Manager for Walkaway USA Inc.

Steve Chandler has been named the new National Vice President of Sales and will be joining the RoadVantage team in September. Chandler was most recently the Regional Vice President at CNA National, where he was responsible for growth, management, and agent relationships for the Western part of the United States. He and Brad Blizzard, the other National Vice President of Sales will report directly to Cooper. Previously, he has held the position of Regional Vice President at Protective Life, Director of Operations & Marketing at Trend Personnel, and Vice President of Training Services at EFG Companies.

RoadVantage Releases New Series of Free Product Videos to Dealerships Nationwide

AUSTIN – Six months after releasing a free educational F&I video to all U.S. dealerships, RoadVantage today released a new series of free point-of-sale product videos to help dealers drive consumer interest in F&I protection when purchasing a vehicle.

“Research shows that four times as many consumers prefer watching a video about a product over reading about it. Dealers who have used the F&I video we released last November have reported overwhelmingly positive results,” said RoadVantage CEO Garret Lacour. “As a result, we’ve created these product-specific videos to serve up point-of-sale product information in an engaging manner that resonates with today’s consumer.”

The new videos (http://bit.ly/2roTqJd) are short and product-specific, like an audiovisual product brochure, so dealers can use them in the F&I manager’s office and on their websites to help customers understand the benefits of specific products: Tire & Wheel, Dent & Ding Repair, Windshield Repair, Interior/Exterior Repair, and Key Replacement.

“As a dealer myself, I’m aware first-hand of how the customer shopping experience has evolved,” said Randy Ross, senior vice president of sales for RoadVantage, former cofounder of Group 1 and owner of Ross Chrysler Jeep Dodge in Boone, NC. “We are showing these videos on our monitors in my dealership showroom and service lounge, and on our website, and they’ve been very effective – customers are actually asking us about the products after seeing the videos.”

The point-of-sale product videos are available on the RoadVantage YouTube channel and are available to all dealerships nationwide. Dealers can link to the videos, or download them for use on their websites or to use as part of presentations in the F&I office.

“There’s a lot of buzz in our industry about digital F&I and the connected consumer,” continued Lacour. “We want to make sure dealers have the tools they need to engage those consumers wherever those consumers may be: online, or watching showroom monitors, or as part of the F&I presentation.”

RoadVantage created the videos in response to industry studies demonstrating that when customers are aware of aftermarket products, they are more likely to purchase them, coupled with research demonstrating a direct correlation between watching product videos and purchase intent.

RoadVantage Continues Strong Momentum with Office Expansions, Hiring Surge

AUSTIN – RoadVantage, the fastest-growing provider of F&I programs for the automotive industry, today announced the third expansion of its Austin headquarters and the addition of a new west coast office, as well as new hires across all departments.

These latest expansions enable RoadVantage to further broaden its sales and customer service operations in order to accommodate the company’s record contract volume and accelerated revenue growth.

In Q1 of 2017, the company hired new employees across all departments, including the addition of a new sales office on the west coast. RoadVantage Interior/Exterior VSC Completes Year of Record Sales

AUSTIN – RoadVantage, the fastest-growing provider of F&I programs for the automotive industry, announced today that its Interior/Exterior Vehicle Service Contract program has just completed a year of record sales.

“When we launched our Interior/Exterior VSC a year ago as part of our powerful multi- option bundle, it generated a lot of excitement among agents and dealers, and over the last year, it has only continued to gain momentum,” said Garret Lacour, CEO of RoadVantage.

RoadVantage introduced its Interior/Exterior Vehicle Service Contract program, which does not require product application, in early 2016 as both a stand-alone product and also as part of its best-selling multi-option bundles.

“One year after we launched it, our Interior/Exterior VSC continues to be a customer favorite and a top seller,” said Randy Ross, Senior Vice President of Sales at RoadVantage. “The reason why it’s so popular is that it offers enhanced coverage compared to traditional Interior/Exterior programs – without requiring chemical application.”

Since introducing the Interior/Exterior Vehicle Service Contract to the market in January of 2016, RoadVantage has seen sales for the program take off, with its multi-option bundle containing the Interior/Exterior VSC quickly becoming one of its most popular programs.
