Protective Launches New FPC Premium Marine Protection Program


CHESTERFIELD, Mo. — Protective Asset Protection has launched a new version of its longstanding marine F&I program, FPC Premium Marine Protection Program. The updated service contract program is available to marine dealers in all states except Washington as of Nov. 1, 2017.

The program enhancements are extensive and include an overhaul of engine and accessory coverage to better meet the needs of today’s watercraft. The additional benefits available with the FPC Marine program are now available with all engine and accessory coverage.

New engines now have exclusionary coverage and the enhanced program offering includes an increase in both deductible options and eligible model years. Protective Asset Protection has also included a dealer participation program for all dealers offering the FPC Premium Marine Protection Program.

ADT Names 2016 Dealers’ Choice Award Winners


TORRANCE, Calif. — The publishers of Auto Dealer Today announced the winners of the 12th annual Dealers’ Choice Awards. The awards are based on a comprehensive survey that allowed dealers and dealership personnel to recognize their favorite vendors, suppliers and finance companies in 34 categories.

Voters must write in the name of each provider and score them in a number of areas related to performance, customer service, and the likelihood the voter would recommend each company to another dealer.

Intersection Technologies Adds Protective VSCs and GAP Products to e-Contracting Platform


PALOS VERDES – Intersection Technologies, Inc. announced it has aligned with Protective Life’s Asset Protection Division to add Protective’s finance and insurance products to Intersection Technologies’ aftermarket, e-contracting platform: F&I Express.

This e-contracting platform enhances the dealership’s ability to electronically rate and sign up a customer for one of Protective’s products during a sale.

Dealer customers of F&I Express will have online access to Protective’s VSC and GAP products through F&I Express. The process requires no redundant data entry for the dealer, and offers an intuitive user interface.

Protective was voted the 2011 Diamond Award winner by Auto Dealer Monthly Magazine positioning them as one of the premier VSC companies in the United States.

Protective, VisionMenu Partnership Offers Product Rating and Enrollment Web Service


CHESTERFIELD – VisionMenu Inc. announced a partnership with Protective’s Asset Protection Division to offer product rating and enrollment Web services through VisionMenu.

As a provider of menu software, custom reporting and desking tools, VisionMenu’s electronic integration with Protective will provide auto dealers with an enhanced online contract fulfillment process and a streamlined F&I buying experience for customers. VisionMenu also offers the ability to auto-populate all necessary customer and product information, allowing dealerships to laser print customer contracts.

Protective Takes Top Spot In Dealers’ Choice Awards


Protective’s Asset Protection Division took top honors in Auto Dealer Monthly’s 2011 Dealers’ Choice Award.

The St. Louis-based business unit scored more than 11 points above the average to earn its first-ever Diamond Award in the service contract category, beating out CNA National and JM&A Group, this year’s Platinum and Gold awardees, respectively, reported F&I and Showroom.

“We are honored to receive the 2011 Dealers’ Choice Award,” said Rick Kurtz, vice president of dealer sales for Protective’s Asset Protection Division, which was awarded the Gold Award in 2009. “I’d like to thank the 10,000 dealers who voted and recognized the contributions of our distribution partners and employees who directly and indirectly support our dealer customers.”
